My last day at Macworld
By · CommentsWell, after 15 years at MacCentral and Macworld, I am leaving. I found out a couple of weeks ago that I was being laid off — I was a bit surprised, but the economy really sucks, so I guess it shouldn’t be a big surprise.

Ozzy and Jim in a Christmas ornament
By · CommentsLast year I had the chance to meet Ozzy Osbourne and his band. I brought in my wife and kids to meet him too. He was a great guy, very friendly and willing to take a few pictures with us.
This Christmas my aunt — and Godmother — took the picture of Ozzy and I, and had it etched in a crystal Christmas ornament. This has to be one of the most inventive gifts I’ve ever received.
While it’s meant for the Christmas tree, this isn’t something I’ll put away. I’ll find a spot in my music studio to put it all year.
Thanks Cathy!
Merry Christmas

It’s hard to believe that another year has gone by, but here we are. It’s Christmas Eve, Michael is in bed, Nicole is wrapping presents, Monique is downstairs, the dog is sleeping and I’m sitting here.
We had a great night having dinner with my parents. Monique cooked a nice ham, potatoes and veggies.
Tomorrow is going to be very busy. Monique’s family will be here for dinner and my family is coming over a bit earlier in the day. I guess it’s time to get some sleep soon.
Merry Christmas!
